1. Who we are
This site, www.amavision.ai, is operated by AMA Inc. ("AMA Vision", "we", "us", "our"), based in Houston, Texas, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email info@amavision.ai.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to provide our services. That includes:
- Contact details you give us through the contact form, the AI business assessment, or when you book a call: name, email, phone, business name, industry, and the message you write.
- Order details when you buy a package or AI service: name, email, billing address, business name, and the items you ordered. Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
- Assessment responses when you take the free AI business assessment: your answers, the calculated score, and optional name and email if you choose to receive a copy by email.
- Communications you send us, including replies to our newsletters or direct emails.
- Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. We use this for site security and to understand broad usage patterns.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, confirm your engagement, and deliver the services you ordered.
- To process payments through Stripe and send receipts.
- To send service-related emails (welcome packets, kickoff scheduling, updates).
- To improve the site and our services based on usage patterns.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing.
4. Third parties that process data for us
We use trusted service providers to run our business. Each one only receives the data they need to provide their service, and each has their own privacy practices:

4a. Social platform integrations
We operate an internal scheduling tool that publishes content to social media accounts owned by AMA Inc. and its affiliated brands (AMA Vision, AMA Academy, AMA Microblading Studio, and the Lily Thien personal brand). The tool is used only by AMA Inc. staff to publish to our own accounts. It is not offered to third parties.
When a staff member authorizes the tool to access one of our social platform accounts (Facebook Page, Instagram Business, LinkedIn member or company page, TikTok Business, YouTube channel), we receive:
- The platform's account identifier (e.g. TikTok open_id, Meta page_id, LinkedIn URN) so we can publish to the right account.
- An access token and a refresh token, which let our tool publish posts the staff member has approved. These tokens are stored only in our internal environment files and are never shared with third parties.
- For TikTok specifically: video files we upload, post captions, hashtags, and publish status. We do not request access to your followers, likes, comments, analytics, or any private data on your account beyond what is needed to publish the posts we have authored.
We use this data exclusively to publish content the staff member has scheduled, and to refresh access tokens when they expire. The content we publish belongs to AMA Inc. or its affiliated brands. We do not store viewer data, follower data, or engagement data from these platforms in our internal systems.
The staff member can revoke our tool's access at any time directly in the platform's settings (e.g. TikTok → Settings → Connected Apps; Meta Business Suite → Business Settings → Integrations; LinkedIn → Settings → Permitted Services). Once access is revoked, our tool stops being able to publish on that account immediately.
5. Cookies and analytics
The site uses essential cookies and browser storage (localStorage) to remember your shopping cart, your assessment progress, and to keep you logged in to forms. These are required for the site to work and are not used for advertising tracking.
We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the site. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
6. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need to provide our services and meet legal obligations. Specifically:
- Order and billing records: 7 years (for tax and accounting).
- Contact form messages and assessment responses: 2 years.
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs and security data: 90 days.
You can request earlier deletion by emailing info@amavision.ai.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (California, EU, UK, and others), you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Request a copy of that information.
- Ask us to correct or update it.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell yours).
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@amavision.ai. We will respond within 30 days. We will never charge you for a reasonable request.
8. International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you are using our services from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. The third-party processors listed in Section 4 operate globally and may process data in other jurisdictions; each one maintains appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted storage at our hosting providers, access controls on internal systems, and regular security review. No internet transmission is fully secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your devices updated.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will notify you by email if you are a customer or subscriber.
